Hi, and welcome to my blog.  just want to tell you about my money saving group on face book and how we became such a big group of over 80,000 members. It all started when i had to finish work as a senior social worker in Swansea due to an injury and subsequent operations on my shoulder. Friends and relatives were amazed at my transition from a very good salary to a minimum and wondered how I managed. I have always been very thrifty, even when I was earning, so it was not a problem. I just had to learn to cut back even more and not spend money where not necessary. I make meals go along way and buy reduced meats etc. I buy all my "Per Una" and designer clothes in boot sales and charity shops. I do not buy anything in high street stores or expensive shops. We take packed lunches and flasks if we go out and have lovely days spending little. I hope my group and my blog will help you cut down on unnecessary spending. If I am really honest with you, i love getting bargains and I have fun doing so.

My face book group was started on the 24th January 2012 and is growing daily.
